Melt Pressure (MPI) is a Canadian company manufacturing products for the plastic extrusion industry. Melt Pressure engineers have over 20 years experience solving problems in the industry’s most difficult environments. The firm’s primary specialty is the design and manufacture of melt pressure transducers and melt pressure transmitters, along with melt pressure gauges.
MPI’s products allow process engineers and manufacturing facilities to monitor and control the pressure of molten plastic extrusion pressure in plastic extrusion machinery. As well as sensors, MPI manufactures a line of extruder rupture disks. These disks make it possible for engineers to ensure a given safe pressure in an extruder machine is never exceeded.
As well as sensors for the plastic extrusion industry, MPI has also extended their expertise towards general industrial process monitoring and control. MPI offer lines of both regular and high temperature pressure transducers and transmitters. These products allow precise measurement of pressure in a variety of systems. High accuracy MEMS-based, hydraulic, flush-mount, and tri-clamp sanitary models are available.
